That's why I read your blog. I know that you majored in linguistics while there, and I also know that you developed a reputation for your vegan cooking skills. I guess you've loosened your dietary restrictions since then. At any rate, one of the best dishes I have eaten is the chile rellenos from Allegria in Silver Lake in Los Angeles. They are not deep fried or soaked with cheese. They let the vegetables and the creme fraiche do all the work. My favorite rock star haircut from the 1980's is George Michael's feathered thing from his Wham! days. It was beautiful.
